This blog will be the center of a lot of our activity over the next month or so. Today we'll start off with some writing and reading on the blog.
If you could change one rule at Gloucester High School what would it be and why. Often when explaining why a change should happen a story--real or hypothetical--can be a powerful way of convincing someone to agree with you. After you make your point and give your reasons try telling a vivid, engaging story that supports your point. Imagine that your audience is the Gloucester High School administration, so write with that audience in mind. Write your answer in a Google doc. Then copy and paste it into the comment box below.
After you do that head over to the Gloucester Daily Times online. Choose a story to read that you'll then summarize and discuss with the class. Keep reading until we're all ready to talk.
